PTA Programs

Funds raised by the LCH PTA through the Fund Drive, Jog-a-Thon and other fundraisers are used for enrichment programs such as the weekly rotation through the "Wheel" (P.E., Music, and Technology) and the following programs.

Abilities Awareness (Volunteer Chair: Mary Starita)
The program is designed to help students better understand and accept the individual differences and abilities of people on campus as well as in the community.  The Ability Awareness program explores the issues of acceptance, inclusion of others, and also addresses teasing and bullying.

Arts Attack (Beth Walsh)
Parent volunteers act as program docents and deliver the arts education lessons to students. Art history, principles of art and self expression are taught using a variety of media.
