PTA at La Costa Heights Elementary

The La Costa Heights PTA is a dedicated community of parents, teachers, and staff working together to support and enrich the educational experience of every student. Through volunteerism, fundraising, and community engagement, the PTA helps provide programs, events, and resources that strengthen our school and create meaningful opportunities for students to learn, grow, and thrive.

All LCH families are encouraged to attend PTA meetings, share ideas, and get involved in helping make our school community exceptional.

What we do

The La Costa Heights PTA helps bridge the gap between available district funding and the resources needed to provide an exceptional educational experience for every student. Through the generosity of our families and community, PTA funding supports:

Student enrichment programs and wheel classes
Classroom materials and educational resources
Academic and intervention support
Grade level enhancement funding
School-wide programs and events
Playground support including YMCA, 4 Quarters and Parkdale Players
Supplemental professional development for teachers
Supplemental instructional materials and technology
Assemblies, family events, and community-building activities

Every dollar raised directly benefits LCH students and helps create opportunities for them to learn, grow, and soar.

Reach Out to the LCH PTA

Meetings

PTA meetings are held every other month. All parents are encouraged to join the PTA and attend our member meetings. Meetings will be announced on the LCH weekly newsletter.

PTA Board

The LCH PTA is administered by the PTA Board, a group of parent volunteers elected by the general LCH PTA. Learn more about the roles on the PTA board. We are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers. If you are interested in joining the PTA board or just finding ways to get involved, please contact us.

School Site Council

The LCH School Site Council is an elected group of parents who work with the principal to develop, review and evaluate school improvement programs and school budgets.
